“The cross (…) makes us feel hope where we see pain and emphasizes the resurrection whenever we meet death. 

Our calling to be grateful includes that we can see every moment in life as ways of the cross to a new life. 

Can we be grateful for everything that has happened in our life – not only for the good things, 

but for everything that has carried us to the present?”

"Het kruis (...) laat ons hoop voelen waar wij pijn zien en de verrijzenis benadrukken waar wij dood tegenkomen. 

Onze roeping om dankbaar te zijn houdt in dat wij elk levensmoment kunnen zien als een kruisweg naar nieuw leven. 

Kunnen wij dankbaar zijn voor alles wat in ons leven gebeurde -  niet alleen voor de goede dingen, 

maar voor alles wat ons naar het heden gebracht heeft?"
